Suction Power Sweeper

Soma Specialities offers Trekstar-I, a Suction Power Sweeper, employing the “overthrow mechanism”, which optimises the hopper capacity. Sweeping is done by the help of a side brush and main roller brush. The side brush collects and brings the litter from outside within the span of the main roller brush, which then collects it and transmits it into the waste hopper. The main roller brush is also supported by a debris flap to trap large objects and transfer them into the waste hopper. This mechanism, in combination with a powerful suction turbine, enables thorough removal of dirt and fine dust in a single operation. The vacuum fan also helps to retain minute dust inside the hopper with the help of a paper filter thereby causing less pollution than an ordinary mechanical sweeper, which does not have a vacuum attachment to retain fine dust letting it out into the environment. The machine is powered by the reliable Honda/Greaves Cotton petrol engines. Battery versions for indoor usage are also available. Trekstar-I power sweeper can achieve speeds of up to 4 km/hr for faster and more effective sweeping and can cover up to 3400 sq.m/hr. The total sweeping width of the machine is 850 mm with side brush and waste hopper capacity is 40 ltrs. The main roller brush level can be adjusted without any tools for different sweeping applications and for optimising the life of the brush. These machines are ideal for indoor as well as outdoor sweeping applications in industries, cement factories, iron and steel plants, railway stations, parking lots, commercial complexes, residential premises etc. The machine provides rugged and durable performance for Indian conditions and is the most economical in its category.
