  • Soma Specialities Pvt. Ltd. has launched a new ride-on sweeper, the PB-2100 for sweeping roads. This sweeper has a sweeping width of 2100 mm and hopper capacity of 240 Ltrs making it suitable for sweeping in large areas and roads of an industrial plant. The sweeper is powered by powerful 48V batteries which can give coverage of upto6-8 hours per charge which enables it to sweep large township roads also without causing any pollution.
  • Batteries provided are dry and maintenance free batteries. The motor being brushless is capable of a very high and maintenance free lifespan. With such maintenance free features, this machine surely cuts down on maintenance and after sales-services costs which are major headache for companies using other ride-on sweepers as their maintenance costs and spares costs are very much higher in fuel engine operated machines.
  • This machine has a productivity of 17000 sqmtr/ hr with a max. speed of 6.5 Km/hr& climb capacity of 25% which makes it one of the most powerful machines to climb up ramps and drive up to higher floors. Rear axle is equipped with a patented electric rear axle mechanism with a differential system for enhanced vehicle stability.
  • The machine is also equipped with a standard integrated water spraying system which prevents dust from blowing in the air when the side brush comes in contact with the dust. This feature makes the sweeping productivity very much more effective in a dusty tropical country like India where dust is a major concern for cleaning. The driver has a comfortable air-cooled cab to sit inside so that they can operate the machine in hot conditions efficiently.
  • The waste is collected in a hopper which can be emptied through hydraulic lifting. The PB-2100 is made of welded steel frame for solidity and durability. Reverse alarms& beacons are another safety feature of the machine making it very safe for the operator and the people around. Control panel is extremely easy and self explanatory making it a very simple sweeping machine to use. The PB-2100 is an ideal machine for use in townships, factories, cement plants, power plants, industrial complexes, large housing societies, railway stations, airports, parking lots, bus stations etc.
