Microcare EOC is an electrostatic super oil cleaning equipment involving static charging of ionised suspended solid contaminants in fluids and oils and collecting them on an enormously spread surface of di-electric media. The cleaning process is carried out off-line which means the parent machine does not have to be shut down. The machine is available in three models with cleaning tank capacity of 25, 50 and 100 ltr. Advantages: reduces operating cost and improves efficiency through periodic submicronic filtration; prolongs oil life and eliminates oil change; improves the MTBF of precision machine components like servo valves, Moog valves, pumps and sliding mechanisms; avoids back pressure and subsequent back flow of contaminants due to clogged filter element; reduces machine downtime and system warm up periods; cleans oil without stopping the production process; and improves life of the hydraulic system components. Can clean oils of the following specifications: with viscosity up to 200 cst; moisture content up to 500 ppm; temperature up to 60°C; non detergent oils; and non water based cutting oils. Types of fluids cleaned: hydraulic oils, turbine oils, bearing lubrication oils, straight cutting oils and any other nonconductive liquid. Salient features: removes suspended solid contaminants down to one micron; very low energy consumption and operating cost; pollution free process - no chemical reaction involved; trolley mounted, portable unit; unattended continuous operation after initial start up; off-line cleaning ensures uninterrupted manufacturing process; all properties of liquid being cleaned are maintained; and total operation control with one key switch. User industries include: plastic injection and blow moulding machines; extruders and pressure die casting machines; hydraulic presses, general hydraulics/servo valves; turbine control and bearing lubrication systems; earth moving; construction and mining equipments; hot and cold rolling mills; machine lubrication systems; cement and power plants; and test stands. Moisture content more than 500 ppm in hydraulic oil (although not desired, but permissible) is a common feature. The company offers a vacuum dehydration unit for dehydration of hydraulic oil. Checking of oil: the unit is supplied with a contamination kit for checking the oil sample drawn from the EOC to a Millipore Test.
