Dust Collector System, Fire Cum Explosion Proof

Surface Finishing Equipment Company (Surfex), an ISO 9001-2000 certified company, has introduced specialised Dust Collector System to prevent fire and explosion in dust collector chamber due to pressure on account of fire, etc. This dust collector is equipped with pressure relief valve panel having explosion vents. These vents are designed to open up/rupture due to pressure of deflagration (explosion that proceeds below the speed of sound in air). Hence event of explosion is prevented resulting into prevention of accidental losses in surrounding, etc. The dust collector is also provided with ATEX approved special valves in the ducting line which shuts/closes immediately on sensing fire signal and helps in prevention of spreading fire through duct. A lime dosing and carbon dioxide dosing system can also be provided to prevent and extinguish fire.
