Concrete/Stone Floor Polishing & Grinding Machine

Soma Specialities Pvt Ltd has introduced a new heavy-duty polisher X7 for polishing of concrete, terrazzo, marble, granite floors efficiently and in short span of time. This machine, which weighs up to 230 kg is equipped with 3 planetary discs with 9 polishing pads rotating at high speeds varying from 300-1600 RPM for faster performance and better grinding results on all kinds of floors. Heavy-duty motor of 5.5 HP provides torque for all kinds of floor maintenance operations. It can also be fitted with additional weight rings to increase grinding speed. With the automatic pressure adjust system and the automatic level adjust system, the efficiency can be increased by 3 times to ensure good smoothness and stable operation. The handgrip is collapsible to optimum handling by operators of different heights. The machine can be disassembled in no time making it convenient to carry anywhere. It can be equipped with vacuum equipment to achieve dry and wet working mode. It is suitable for many kinds of abrasive pads, which can be changed easily and quickly. This machine is highly advantageous for polishing of large concrete floors in manufacturing workplaces or warehouses as it gives an enhanced life, durability and aesthetics to the floors. Polished concrete floors are also more resistant to abrasion from scratches and tyre marks of material handling vehicles and scuff marks. Due to high gloss achieved by the polishing process with this machine which increases the reflectivity of the floor surface and allows ambient lighting levels to be reduced by up to 30%, thereby reducing power consumption. The chemical emissions or VOCs of concrete floors are relatively much lower compared to other types of floors. These environment friendly features are important for buildings going for Green Building Certification. The cost involved in maintenance of concrete floors is reduced due to its long life unlike in epoxy floors which need to be stripped and replaced periodically. This machine can also be used to repair old concrete floors which are in need of maintenance.
