Plansee AG, Austria, manufactures advanced materials for medical technology. These materials are produced with powder metallurgy. Based on the customer request the company produces finished and semi-finished products. Product range for medical technology includes x-ray targets, stationary anodes, fastening elements for targets, rotors, detector parts, etc. Further, to protect from X-rays and Y-rays we produce shields, collimators, container and components, etc. These components are produced out of tungsten, molybdenum and their alloys. Standard product range includes wire, sheet, foil, rod, tube and bar.
