Wear Pads

Josh Alloys offers Wear Pads. These are ideal for pulversing, crushing, mining and drilling applications, made of angular blocky granules of tungsten carbide bonded together by German silver alloy. Hardness: 200 BHN (matrix) 89-91 RA carbide. Uses: fishing tools, stabilisers, deep well drilling casings, milling cutters, oil well drills, drill bits (short tails), pulverising hammers, mill liners, sand mixing blades and others wear sever abrasion occurs in ceramic cement and coal industries. Shape and size: as per customers" dimensions. Recommendations: excellent for abrasion and impact applications as extremely tough copper alloy matrix with stands extensive shock loadings; improved weldability permits bonding at well below the critical temperature of ferrous metals; and specially advantageous of improving abrasion and cutting properties.
