Variable Spray Autojet Spray Nozzles

Spraying Systems Co, USA, offers variable spray autojet (VAU) spray nozzles to provide precise, uniform coating of pills, granules and tablets, which is a common application in the pharmaceutical industry. This application is critical since most of the coatings involve viscous liquids. To avoid nozzle clogging and poor spray distribution a separate set up is provided for atomizing air and fan air controls. The capacity, drop size and spray pattern can be fine tuned for precise coverage by a unique external mix design which enables independent adjustment of the atomizing air, fan air and liquid flow. The VAU nozzle has a built-in orifice cleanout needle which is automatically activated between each spray cycle to remove the clogging matter.
