Established in 1972, with a goal to meet the country’s requirement of rolls indigenously, the company today offers a product canopy consisting of 50 kg single piece roll to 30000 kg single piece roll in finished weight. The company offers Spheroidal Graphite (Nodular) Cast Iron. SG iron (nodular) or ductile iron rolls are available in a wide range of hardness and composition for a variety of application. The matrix structure varies from ferrito-pearlitic, pearlitic to bainitic and martensitic together with different carbide contents and graphite in the form of spheroids/nodules. Some critical grades are heat treated for higher strength. Chemical composition and structure are chosen to suit specific application.
