Bharat Roll Industry, a member of Modern Group of companies, has a leading presence in India’s roll manufacturing scenario. Established in 1972, with a goal to meet the country’s requirement of rolls indigenously, the company today offers a product canopy consisting of 50 kg single piece roll to 30000 kg single piece roll in finished weight. The company offers Alloy Cast Steel Rolls. These rolls are hypo-eutectoid steel rolls alloyed with chromium and molybdenum. The heat treatment of these rolls involves normal double annealing followed by tempering cycle, which improves toughness and thermal shock resistance. The microstructure is primarily pearlitic with broken cementite. These types of rolls offer mechanical strength of higher degree with good weldability. Applications: these rolls are ideally made for blooming mills and roughing stands for light and heavy section mills.
