Takano Slitter, Model KY-B201, is a simplex surface winder driven by a DC motor, good for mill roll with diameter over 1.5 metres. Features: hard and robust body for heavy-duty converting; shaftless loading, hydraulic lift up; auto edge guiding, precise winding without trimming; shaftless winding, time and labour saving; hydraulic or pneumatic finished rolls ejector; and fast and safe unloading. Kao Yeh Machine Industrial Co, with more than 35 years of experience in slitting engineering, is the pioneer of slitter machines in Taiwan. At the first stage it served the major leading companies in the paper, plastic, label and packaging industries. The company also built the first surface-winding slitter with a two-drum roller, which was granted a patent certificate good for 10 years. Two-drum winding is now commonly used in large reel converting, such as non-woven and paper rolls.
