Short Stroke Cylinders

Luthra Hydro Pneumatic Industries offer Short Stroke Cylinders. It is compact. It is available from bore sizes 20-100 mm and stroke lengths of maximum 100 mm. The ability to sense the position of the piston by means of reed switches has rendered it smart and hence can be easily interfaced with PLC/ microprocessor. The cylinder tube is machined from extruded aluminium tube having grooves to incorporate reed switches for position sensing. The assembly is so compact that the effective space saving in overall length of cylinder becomes 30% when compared to conventional cylinder length, which is very useful in applications where space is restricted.
