Quick Change Tapping Adaptors

IMI quick change tapping able with or without features such as radial parallel float and length compensation on tapping chucks and safety clutch and length adjustment on tap adaptors. These chucks and adaptors find use on transfer lines and multi-spindle machines. Appropriate design and use of suitable materials have resulted in a stable tool holder with a very small outside diameter of chucks, which makes them suitable for working in single and multi-spindle machines, either for vertical or horizontal applications. The chucks have a ball bearing length compensation device, which compensates for the machine feed and tap pitcn variance. (Stall 9, Hall 7 FGH, IMTEX-98.)
