Precision cylindrical plunge grinder

Champkraft Machine Tools offers a precision cylindrical plunge grinder. The base is made of close grained and heavily ribbed casting for high rigidity. The hand scraped "V" and "flat" table guide ways coated with Turcite ? B slideway material to reduce friction and precision positioning accuracy, with continuous lubrication. The hydraulic system is a separate unit consist of tank hydraulic pump, solenoid valves, pressure regulator, flow control valve, gauge, piping, etc, placed near the machine. The wheel head spindle is made of case hardened nickel chrome alloy steel ground and super finished and runs in adjustable specially developed phaphorous bronze plane bearings to achieve high accuracy and long life. Drive to the wheel head spindle is transmitted by two "V" belts. Work head spindle is made of case hardened nickel chrome alloy steel and runs in precision taper roller bearings. The drive to the work is built for stationary and live spindle grinding. Work speed can be changed by changing the four-step pulley and belt the motor is of dual speed type so eight (8) speed can be achieved. The machine is supplied with all electricals suitable for 400/440 V AC 50 c/s supply, with programmable logic control (PLC).
