PORTABLE PLATING MACHINE

Purvi Products offers Portable Plating Machine, Rich Gold brand, for on-site electro-deposition of metals on localised area without dipping the jobs in plating tanks. This system is known as brush plating system. Localised plating of nickel, tin, silver, gold and rhodium is possible in selective areas with perfect bonding and less porosity. Selective etching is also possible with this equipment. Applications: in electrical and electronic industries, to improve solder-ability to stainless steel; silver and gold plating on switchgear contacts and sliding faces to improve current flow; on bus bars, selective silver plating to reduce contact resistance; and so on. Some customers have noticed 40% reduction in contact resistance and in working temperature also. This system is useful for excellent conductivity, corrosion protection and anti-seize coating. Tin coating protects bearing surfaces from fretting. Tin or silver coating is applied on generator parts, slip rings and on circuit breakers. In corrosive atmosphere, nickel/silver + gold plating are used to protect costly parts from erosion and corrosion. Since the plating is done on-site, components do not require disassembly and reassembly means a good saving of time and money. Etching of part numbers/production date/dispatch date or logo, etc, is possible with the help of specially made stencil. The equipment operates on 230 V AC and the process is very easy. Any fitter level operator can be trained within few hours. The accessories and chemicals are freely available.
