PILLAR DRILLING MACHINE

Richa Machine Tools offer Pillar Drilling Machine. The machines are made from close-grained cast iron, accurately bored, reamed and honed in perfect parallels between the column and spindle. An easy clamping device is fitted for locking it on the column and forged steel to withstand distortion. It is balanced and mounted on taper roller bearings, which drive through 6 spindle-broached sleeves V-belt pulley. The additional four spindles are obtained from the gear set. Integrally cast from high tensile graded casting, machined and ground finished and is operated by pinion controlled four-spoked star wheel. The machine is proportionately designed for rigidity and sufficient surface area is provided to hold down job. It can be vertically lowered or raised by means of worm and rack. Tee-slots are provided to hold the heavy jobs. Simple back gear arrangement and versatile spindle speeds suit the cutting speeds. Forged and heat treated spindle is mounted on taper roller bearings. A quick spindle return is provided by means of flat coil spring. This machine is suitable for tapping, reaming, boring, screwing and angular drilling.
