Parting slides

Sri R V Machine Tools, a Coimbatore-based manufacturer, offers SMID parting slide. This offers precision and accuracy, and is said to be ideal in high production in small components. The slides are used in capstan lathes and light duty centre lathe (if necessary subject to required additional bed mounting bracket as per individual machine bed profiles). Specifications: the cross movement of the slide is 90 mm. The slide has forward and rear stoppers. This is for parting tool movement control and rear slide tool (chamfer tool) movement control. The slides are made of GG 25 grade castings and it is stress relieved material. The slide movement is by rack and pinion mechanism. Front and rear slide-tool post will be provided. The tool post tool size is 12.7 mm slot. The tool bar is provided with rocker arm type tool post for easy adjusting of centre height. The centre height of the slide is 100 mm.
