Metal cutting band saw

G R Industries, located in Calcutta, manufactures 8-speed metal cutting band saw machine for speedy and accurate cutting of any type of material. Special gearbox pulley system gives eight speeds between 34 mtr per mt and 810 mtr per mt or 51 mtr per mt and 1215 mtr per mt. This band saw cuts materials up to a thickness of 125mm in wood and 70mm of ferrous/non-ferrous materials depending upon the nature of the material to be cut. It is mounted on a high-grade cast iron frame with a tilting table and runs on carefully balanced wheels. At the vital work point, hardened upper and lower guide blocks provide extra support to the blade. The sturdy 400mm square worktable with a meter gauge slot tilts up to 45 deg to the right and 10 deg to the left for greater versatility. This machine is useful for production lines, general repair and maintenance shop, tool rooms, for fast and precise cutting of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, structural steel, tubes, slate bakelite, fibre, plastic and wood. These machines are available in medium 8-speed model, high 8-speed model and single speed model for woodworking.
