The heart of this unit is a powerful electro-magnet that holds the drill press firmly in place for drilling in any position. Drill sizes up to 1 1/2? are easily accommodated in these units. This product features a radial positioner with a turning radius of 330 degree. Precision alignment of the drill bit or tap is accomplished after the magnet has been turned by use of the handle. This allows a lateral movement throughout the entire 330-degree turning radius. This unit is supplied with a safety chain for horizontal and overhead drilling security in case of power failure and it requires only 220 V, 50 cycles, single phase AC or DC to operate.
