LT Control Switches

Thakoor Technologies offers LT Control Switches, M25 and M63. These are cam-operated switches built up from uniform switching packets assembled to form a stack. Each packet carries 2 fixed contacts accessible from outside and 2 moving contacts inside the packet. The moving contacts are operated by moulded bakelite cams which are actuated by a spring operated mechanism. This facilitates make and break operations with positive location of positions. The switches are capable of rotating either in clockwise or anticlockwise directions. M25 switch is generally supplied with Bakelite ball handle and M63 switch with machine handle. Both handles can be fixed in any desired positions. Switching capacity and mechanical life: M25 and M63 switches are exceptionally suitable for safe starting and stopping of AC, 3-phase induction motors, even under heavy starting and locked rotor conditions. These switches are capable of a frequency of operations up to 200 switching cycles per hour. The mechanical life of these switches is exceptionally high, running into millions of switching cycles. The switches possess high making and breaking capacity and long contact life. Connection: the terminals of M25 and M63 switches are easily accessible from outside. Range of switches: these switches are supplied either in open execution or in sheet steel housing. They are also supplied with front plate (as an extra accessory) for flush mounting.
