Thakoor Technologies offers Starter. It is a direct-online starter, type SB. This is a manually operated push button starter. It is compact and versatile switchgear suitable for non-reversing control of 5.5 kW, 415 V, 3-phase or 1.5 kW, 230 V, single-phase squirrel cage induction motor of any type. This starter is suitable for utilisation category AC-3 (non-reversible) intermittent duty (12 operating cycles per hour) as per IS: 13947 (part 4/sec.1): 1993. Mounting is available in enclosed, flush mounting types, open execution and in enclosed type, for surface mounting, the starter unit is enclosed in dust proof sheet steel housing having a removable metal cover. In flush mounting type, the starter unit is attached to a metal faceplate. The starter unit occupies the recess in the machine frame. In open execution type, the starter unit is installed on the integrally moulded mounting brackets and only the push buttons project out of the machine casing.
