Level Sensor For Non-Conductive Liquids

Electronic Switches (I) P Ltd offers a new level sensor suitable for any type of non-conductive liquid irrespective of its colour. It works on the optical principle. Direct contact of electrical current with the liquid is not required to sense the liquid level. The sensor consists of a built-in-amplifier working on 10 to 24 V DC with NPN or PNP output. For 230 V AC operation and relay output, a powerpack is provided. The sensor offers Low/High voltage level change at the output when liquid touches the sensor. The sensor comes in a cylindrical, 18 mm dia, Ni-Cr plated brass housing. It can be used for controlling the level of petrol, diesel, oils, distilled water, etc, or any liquid where normal level sensor used for conductive liquids cannot be used.
