Horizontal boring machine

Guru Nanak Engineering Works is manufacturing high-precision horizontal boring machines under "Karam brand. The machines are used for machining bores in various types of gearboxes, machine bodies, for surface milling and also for large dia flange facing. The spindle sizes are of 65, 80, 100, 110 and 125 assuring stiffness, accuracy and large output. The casting is close-grained of Grade 20 and adequately seasoned to ensure distortion-free rigid structure as it contains 25% steel and ferrochrome, etc. All gears, and especially the work spindle of machine, are made out of alloy steel, duly heat-treated and ground. All other inputs in the manufacturing process are always the best available in the market. The geometrical accuracy of the machine conforms to Dr Schlesinger"s acceptance test chart. All traverses of X, Y and Z axis of the machine as well as circular movement of the work table are provided with automatic feeds and rapid travels. The machine can be supplied with of without 3 axis DRO system, digital rotary encoder, Turcite-B linings and extended traverses. Threading, milling and taper boring attachments permit to perform multi-operations on a single machine.
