High precision lathes

Schaublin is known for high precision lathes, both conventional and CNC. In addition to their famous CCN 125 and 180 CCN lathes - from the drawing to the finished part in a record time, a range of 3 vertical machining centres with Siemens or Fanuc controls are offered. Last April Schaublin Machines introduced some new lathes, of which Schaublin 225 plus was presented at EMO 03 in Milan for the first time and had a great success. This new lathe has the reality and precision of the traditional Schaublin products with in addition a Fanuc power mate = Quick turn front-end software. This combination offers many advantages: setting of the machine for one off parts made easy with the FANUC Quick turn that allows a complete range of tools to be stored in memory; time saving for small batch quantities with quick turn controls system that allows the memory to contain 15 different geometric programs; time saving using internal and external thread cutting cycles, to quickly repair damaged threads; and use of the many accessories, which already exist for other types of Schaublin machines. Another model, 140 CNC lathe, equivalent to the existing 110 CNC, was also launched at EMO 03. A batch of machines is going to be supplied to the European Aeronautics Industries. The machine is for high precision and high productivity.
