LMT Fette offers High-performance Tools. It is used for precision machining. Increasing use is being made of lightweight and composite construction materials. It is being used for the manufacture of transmission housings and steering tubes in the automobile industry. It can achieve out-of-roundness values of below 4 µm at rotating speeds higher than 1,000 1/min. It is also rated for very deep cutting depths in a single work stage. It can be supplied on request complete with aligning adapter and ready-balanced, so that time-consuming setting-up work is not needed. Alignment to eliminate out-of-roundness can also be avoided, since the tools can be clamped directly into a ThermoGrip chuck with a tolerance of H 7.
