LMT Fette (India) offers Bilz – thermoset professional ISVG 4200 PR – a combination of intelligently automated functional components has produced a high-precision device with all the benefits offered by induction shrink technology. The ISVG 4200 PR operates universally and manually and is consequently ideal for all types of tools with or without inductive shrink technology. The key plus-point of the ISVG 4200 PR is its automatic operation. The robot-compatible components in the complete version make it possible to enjoy the benefits of inductive shrink technology in a fully automated tool-fitting cell. But it can also be operated manually – with or without shrink technology. The following extras are available for this purpose: the pneumatically interchangeable coil has an interchangeable disk system enabling easy adjustment to a wide range of tool diameters. Simply remove a locking ring, change the ferrite disk and replace the locking ring. No tools required. A two-piece disk also makes it possible to shrink tools with cutting diameters that are larger than the shaft diameter. ThermoGrip chucks with broad jaws counter bore are normally used for high-precision shrinking. If narrow-jawed chucks are used for any reason (e.g., from existing inventories or other manufacturers), they can be fitted into a special extra-large diameter-setting adapter that can accommodate the correct intermediate sleeves. The ISVG 4200 PR has a tamper that probes and shifts the current position of the cutting tool. The correct chuck then replaces the adapter. In the meantime, the ISVG 4200 PR has positioned the spindle at the point required to produce the correct length. The coil can then be lowered onto the chuck, the generator switched on and the tool shaft inserted into the drill-hole on the chuck as soon as this has opened up to the necessary diameter. Sets of sleeves are available for all shaft sizes from 2 to 32 mm.
