Conversion Of Planer To Plano Miller

Poona Udyog converts conventional planers to piano millers. The advantages are increase in working efficiency, better surface finish more machine life and easiness in machining hard material with use of Sandvik T max cutters. The process of conversion consists of replacing tool post with milling attachment and providing reduced table speed by coupling main shaft of planer with suitably designed geared motor. The machining time is reduced to 40% by the conversion.
