Poona Udyog manufactures machined bed plates as per customer’s requirements. Cast iron base plates are cast as per IS: 210 - 1978. Top and bottom faces are machined on Plano millers. Side faces are also machined. Base plates have Tee-slots suitable for Tee-nuts/Tee-bolts of various sizes starting from M-16, to M-42 size. Stress relieving of base plates can be done as per customer's requirements. The company is a manufacturer of precision machined, ground, heat treated components and assemblies for defense jobs; sugar mill equipment; import substitution products; jigs-fixtures, T-bolts, T-nuts, press dies, jig bushes and clamping arrangements; bolsters for forging presses; maintenance spares; rams and ram-guides; die keys, sow block keys for hammers and forging presses; holders for up-setter; dies and punches for shearing machines and for press brakes, etc. It also undertakes conversion of planers into plano millers.
