Contamination Control Breathers

Earth Tekniks offers Contamination Control Breathers, Z Series. They are a unique, patented air filter and vapour removal system. They replace the standard breather or vent cap on virtually all types of industrial equipment, storage tanks, and transformers. They prevent destructive contaminants from entering fluid reservoirs and tanks as air is breathed in and out due to thermal expansion or fluid level changes. Fluid contamination is one of the primary causes of component wear and lubricant failure in industrial equipment. Models are available to meet the requirements of most industrial applications. These offer protection for all enclosed fluid systems; remove water vapour and abrasive particles; reduce component wear; prolong fluid life; and reduce maintenance costs. Applications are for reservoirs, gearboxes, transformers, storage tanks, etc. Z-Series breathers: there are four models of these "Mini Breathers." They are designed for applications where space is limited. They are often used for gearboxes and small reservoirs. The airflow rating of these models is 10 cfm (75 GPM). The connection on all of these units is a 1.2" female thread which mates with several available fittings.
