Carbon Brush Holders

Sama Sales offers carbon brush holders, available in a wide range to accommodate carbon brushes from 7.5 kW to 2000 kW. These carbon brush holders are widely used in DC machines, alternators and motors. The brush holders are cast to the exact specifications of ISI and machined to the accuracy of 0.05 mm. The brush boxes are carefully broached to mirror finish and the sliding interface with the carbon brush is maintained within 0.02 mm. The company has developed both import substitution and indigenous brush holders to suit client requirements. The spring tension is maintained to the required load and tested with specially designed UTM. These brush holders can also be supplied with suitable carbon brushes of the required grade.
