Bevellers are the ‘easiest to operate’ equipment, which give smooth and uniform chamfer, be it for sharp edge removal or for weld preparation. These hi-technology but rugged bevellers come from the family of Nitto Power Tools of Japan, the most trusted name in power tools, portable machine tools, and quick change couplers worldwide. The company offers choice of either electric power driven or pneumatically upon capacities. Bevellers come in maximum capacities of chamfering up to 15 mm deep (chamfer face of 21 mm) and up to 4R. The chamfer angles are adjustable from 15 to 45 degree. The adjustments of depth as well as radius are very easy and do not require any special expertise. The operation of these bevellers is also made very simple and light weight (2.5 kg to 14 kg) makes it almost anybody’s job. There are index able carbide tips rotating at a very high RPM, which give almost a milling effect to the chamfer. Two guide plates keep the beveller in position, confirming uniform depth all over the edge. So no more problems of mismatching of the edges to be welded, no more uneven, sharp edges to the finished jobs. Circuit Beveller CB-02 is one more of the Nitto bevellers, most suitable for chamfering of the holes, pipes (both ID and OD), profiles and contours up to a depth of 2 mm. This pneumatically driven beveller weighs only 1.8 kg and fits in a single palm, making it truly very portable and easy to operate beveller which does chamfering (radial or flat) of the most difficult to chamfer curved edges, with utmost ease. For Nitto bevellers there is no restriction on the thickness of the job. Though each model has its limit of maximum depth of chamfer, the thickness of the plate can be anything.
