Automatic Positioner

Elettromeccanica MB snc offers a bench positioner, Model TIGGHINO, purpose-built for the welding of small diameters, but with great precision ? TIG and micro plasma, with one or two torches. This is a sliding bench supporting the torch and the tailstock equipped with a double linear path and ball-bearing trolley. Rotation is with a direct-current electric motor and electronically feedback-controlled speed. The rotary table is equipped with a 200 mm self-centring mandrel. The structure holding the torch has micrometric adjustment on three axes. It is possible to carry out pneumatic positioning of the torch with a tilt of ? 45? from the vertical, for the welding of hollow objects. The control panel is in a separate console. Technical features: the TIGGHINO model of lathe positioner is a machine which represents the answer to all work requiring high performance in terms of precision and reliability, such as TIG welding, or micro plasma on small details. In this model all motion of movable parts takes place on rectified linear paths and ball-bearing pedals. The TIGGHINO2 model maintains the same basic structure, with a double torch support for carrying out parallel welding. The ROT model option allows the torch-holding structure to tilt ?45? in order to permit access to and removal of the welding torch, even in situations of overhead welding or welding inside slightly hollow structures (such as concave plates). The CP-Control option allows the replacement of the pneumatic tailstock with the electrical equivalent, in order to control its degree of movement and the force exerted under pressure.
