Elettromeccanica MB is a leading company in the production of automation and automatic positioners for welding, with over 40 years of experience in the field. The company offers lathe automatic positioners, SC Series. This is a positioner for the simultaneous automatic circular welding of circular pieces, maximum load 200 kg. Rotation is activated by a direct current electrical motor, speed electronically adjusted by current feedback. Other features include: bimanual control driven tail-stock; equipped with a flowing rear protective screen with display in inactinic glass; optional adjustable sliding V-support; and the working length between the tail-stock and the table can be customised on request. Model SCA 200: wheel positioner with excellent performance/price ratio, available with useful lengths ranging from 2 to 4 m. Nominal load capacity of 200 kg, rotating table Ø 500 mm, with a 50 mm orifice to fit onto the table, with an optional thickness of 100 mm. Model SCL 500: high-performance wheel positioner with a nominal load capacity of 500 kg, rotating table Ø 600 mm. Torch holders can be run on a linear path and ball-bearing trolleys. 50 mm orifice to fit onto the table, with optional thickness of 100 or 200 mm, available in useful lengths ranging from 2 to 5 m. Model SCX 1000: high-performance wheel positioner with a nominal load capacity of 1000 kg, designed to work with a table out of gear outside the cycle, indispensable for balancing and alignment of the pieces. All torch movements and opposing movements take place on rectified linear paths and ball-bearing trolleys. Axle for holding the torch, which can be motorised to carry out linear welding or to carry out maintenance (riporto) on cylinders, with an optional PLC work cycle. All positioners can be customised according to specific requirements.
