Metallizing Equipment Co offers arc spraying systems for spraying aluminium on exhaust silencers. To control the air pollution, automobile manufacturers are required to install catalytic converter in the silencer. This catalytic converter reduces air pollution by converting exhaust smoke into harmless ingredients. In this process the exhauster silencer temperature increases to approximately 550?C and will cause oxidation and corrosion, which reduces the life of the silencer. To overcome this problem, the company has coated aluminium by its recently developed Twin Wire Spraying Arc Jet 95/400 System. This system is designed for high volume of Production with uniform Coating thickness to economize the coating cost. Arc jet 95/400 system is a high velocity spray gun with an option to operate at low velocity. To operate this equipment, you will need electric power supply and compressed air. The arc spraying of aluminium is done over the substrate, which has previously been prepared by grit blasting.
