APH Basket

Mech-Well Industries manufactures rotary APH elements and baskets as per customers’ specification and drawings. The elements are manufactured by single stage cold forming rolling method. The forming dies have profiles of DU, creased, NF6 and as per clients requirement. The company uses the latest technology in which sheets are corrugated by rolling process and the profile of heating elements remain uniform and manufacturing is carried out in a single process for each profile. With this process the material does not get work hardened. Thickness and quality of profile of the sheets remain uniform. The elements are basketed for accurate fitment resulting in their longer life, and bringing down the cost of replacing the basket. Poorly designed profiles and improper manufacture lead to high pressure drops. More pressure drop across flue gas will increase loading on induced draft fan. Also more pressure drop across APH for primary and secondary air results in poor performance and low wind box pressure. These factors reflect in poor combustion.
