Rollon Bearings offers TB Slideways. It is an engineered thermoplastic compound developed for use in linear bearing elements to avoid metal to metal sliding contacts. It is a self-lubricating and wear resistant material. TB slideway bearing offers greater dynamic stiffness characteristics because of their distributed contact area when compared to the precision rolling guides. The TB slideway also offers much greater damping than the steel rolling guides. As a result of the favourable stiffness and damping, the total performance of TB slideway greatly exceeds that of the equivalent rolling guide system.
