This radius and angle dresser reduces set up and dressing time to a bare minimum due to its simple design. All critical parts made of suitable materials are hardened and ground for longer life. For setting of radius it does not need a height gauge. Radius is set by measuring over the pins with the help of micrometer or by inserting gauge blocks between the pins for direct reading. Similarly, angle can also be set accurately with the help of graduations provided on the flange periphery having a main scale and a vernier scale. Grinding wheel can be dressed at an angle, which is tangent to radius dressed. This instrument is also made without the angle-dressing feature for economy for those who do not need angle dressing.
