Toolfast offers Lock Down Jaw Machine Vice. This is available with flame hardened bed. This is a most suitable vice for machining centre as well as a milling machine. It has a unique design having down thrust `semi sphere segment’ mechanism which eliminates jaw lift and work piece tilt. No need to hammer the work piece as in other vices. The body is made out of high quality unbreakable ductile iron casting. This vice is most suitable for heavy duty milling due to its rigid construction and low overall height for maximum clearance. Accuracy in parallelism and squareness is within 0.02mm. Hardened bed and jaws maintain accuracy for long. Top and bottom of vice bed are precision ground having tenon-slots and tenons are supplied along with vice for quick alignment on the machine table. Available in 110, 160mm and 210mm jaw width with swival base and without swival base models. All parts of these vices are interchangeable and are available as spares.
