Pre-compressible Spring/ Damper

Resistoflex Pvt Ltd offers Pre-compressible Spring/ Damper, PSD Series. This PSD Series are of very low frequency and very high viscous damping units fitted with a pre-compression device to facilities adjustment at site and easy installation & removal of heavy machines. Resonant frequency is down from 3 to 5 hertz with damping of 8 to 15% of critical. Radial stiffness is high as compared to axial stiffness. Unit is available with top and/ or bottom friction pads for obviating the need of anchoring (bolting). Applications include active isolation of large size rotating machines with or without inertia block running at speeds down to 30rpm and developing very high dynamic forces (unbalance, short-circuit, couples) such as centrifuges, compressors, crushers, fans, forging hammers, pumps, presses, pile-drives etc. and passive isolation of major civil engineering structure such a anechoic chambers, buildings, laboratories, metrology chambers, slabs etc.
