N Jewellery Techniques offers Laser Marking Machine. This is the latest generation machine with a new Nd:YVO4 laser having high brilliance, suitable for operating on any metal and on the most part of the plastic materials for industrial purposes. Smarky is a Class IV laser source. The system architecture is composed of two parts: 1) The resonator-scanning head; and 2) The electronic rack. An optic fibre L=3 m and a signal cable allow to remote the rack. The laser marker is controlled by a PC notebook with an interface customised board, SLC (SISMA Laser Control) software. Other details: control - Windows PC with PCI or USB board, RS232 software SISMA laser controller; interface - PLC, data network (Ethernet), digitals I/O, axes control, other auxiliary devices; software - entirely developed in SISMA, it processes the data or the images to be marked checking the laser and all connected devices completely; loadable files SVG, RMP, JPG, HTML, PLT; and laser and all connected devices completely, loadable files SVG, RMP, JPG, HTML, PLT. Technical data, Smarky 10W Air: output power - 10 W @ 10 kHz; max marking speed - 5000 mm/s; power supply - 230 V ±15 50/60 Hz 1-phase; absorbed power - 550 W; beam sources weight - 5 kg; scanner head weight - 3 kg; aiming beam red diode laser = 630 nm 1 mw; and focal area/marking area - 100/65 x 65 mm, 160/110 x 110 mm and 254/180 x 180 mm.
