Director, Mr. Nariman H. Wadia, has been associated with the gem and jewellery industry for 40 years and is also a consultant for jewellery manufacturing processes. Mr. Wadia studied jewellery design at the London County Council Central School of Art and is the only Indian to be elected a member of the American Appraisers’ Association. He is a co-convenor for the Product Development Centre (JPDC) and is also on the Research and Development Committee of the GJEPC. He has also been nominated as a member of the Trade Advisory Panel for the Gold Jewellery by the Commissioner of Customs (Airport). His familiarity with the Japanese market as well as his experience in working with Japanese market as well as his experience in working with platinum, a metal with a history of popularity in that country, has also enable him to offer hard-core consultancy to Indian firms dealing with Japan.
