Metallizing Equipment Co offers Arcjet 96/400 system for spraying stainless steel on cookware surfaces. Arc sprayed stainless steel process enhances the life of non-stick cookware. The application of arc sprayed stainless steel as reinforced coating has been proven to drastically increase the working life of many types of cookware. The sandwiched steel mesh between the aluminium alloy substrate and Teflon overlay offers good adherence, porous, hard and tough surface to the Teflon coating. The inherent porosity generated in the stainless steel spraying process allows the Teflon slurry to seep into them and gets locked into steel. This produces high bond strength and hereby increasing the scratch resistance, which in turn enhance the life. The unique process makes kitchen ware last longer and perform better than the conventional one.
