Nippon Technologies has introduced Nippon 1008?, a state-of-the-art microprocessor based process scanner. This accepts a wide range of inputs like PT 100 (RTD 2 and 3 wire), PT 1000, thermocouples (J, K, R, S and T), 4 to 20 mA and any non-linear signal. The scanner is EPROM linearised, which gives accuracy of ?1 ?C or ? least count. The design is for 8 channels with skip and hold facility. The compact DIN size of 96 mm (H) x 96 mm (W) plastic case, elegant soft-touch membrane keys, modular design, excellent accuracy and reliability, H/L alarms, 90-260 V AC sturdy power supply, RS 232 - RS 485 interface, traceability to ISO 9000 standards makes it universal choice for chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemicals, food industries, HVAC, winding temperature, power plants and furnace industries.
