COX Recorders has added a-new feature to their popular multi-trip transit recorder, the Cox Tracer permanent memory recorder. This easy-to-use electronic data logger is now even more convenient because an optional window display has be n designed into the logger's case. The easy-to-read LCD provides updated readings every time a temperature sample is taken. One of the added benefits of the display feature is an upper/lower visual alarm which will show if any sensor detected a temperature outside of its pre-set limits. In addition, an audible alarm can be programmed to sound under these same conditions. A latched alarm will provide an alert if the sensor observes an out-of-specification reading regardless of the current sensor reading and a delayed alarm will activate if a prescribed number of consecutive out-of-specification readings have been logged. Also these loggers can be used as hand-held measuring devices by simply swiping the logger with the furnished magnetic key ring along the base of the display window which will provide an on-the-spot temperature update. These data loggers with display are available in three configurations: an internal temperature sensor unit, a model with an internal temperature sensor and one external temperature sensor and a model with two external temperature sensors.
