Cox Recorders has added a valuable new option to the Cox Tracer permanent memory recorder. This electronic data logger is now available with LED lights which indicate the on/off status of the logger as well as providing immediate notice of out-of-specification readings. If the temperature of a shipment should go above or below the desired range (pre-programmed by the user via user-friendly Windows' software), a LED light will flash alerting the user to temperature anomalies. The device can be programmed to indicate an alarm state after any number of consecutive out-of-specification temperature readings from 1 to 15. In addition, the log-ger can be programmed to disable the alarm should the tem-perature return to the desired range. An audible alarm option is also available.
