Data Scanner/ Logger

Ace Instruments offers Data Scanner/ Logger. It is a digital readout instrument available in 8, 16, 20, 32 and 48 channels which can take inputs from field mounted pressure/ vacuum/ temperature/ RH/ pH/ voltage/ flow transmitters and display the parameters on a 4 1/2 digit red LED digital readout with 2 displays for channel number indication. It is a micro controller based device with two models available. The fixed input scanner/ logger is factory programmed for inputs. Each channel in this type of instrument can be configured for any of the standard inputs like RTD Pt-100, J/ K/ R/ S/ T thermocouple, 4-20 mA, 0-1 V.D.C. But the limitation is once set, the channel can accept only the fixed input it was programmed for. The universal input data scanners/ loggers have the option of front key programmable inputs wherein the user can select inputs for each channel depending on his convenience and the inputs can be changed using the front keypad to change the parameter any time. All the standard inputs can be configured using the front keypads. Its unique feature is that each channel has independent calibration facility from the front keypad. The 8 channel data loggers have a built in record facility for 128 KB data (translating to roughly about 5000 records per channel) and 16 channel data loggers have a logging capacity of 225 KB built in (roughly around 3000 records per channel). Standard features include auto/ manual channel scanning, scan rate programmability, channel enable/ disable, 2 common relay output, range programmability for zero and span for 4-20 mA input along with resolution decimal selection, etc. Optional features include parallel Centronix port for direct printing with date/ time stamp onto 80/ 132 column dot matrix printer without use of computer, RS232/ RS485 computer connectivity with software for real time online trend and historical graph and Modbus RTU protocol RS485.
