The Communicator is a security system, which plays a major role in providing safety both for commercial and domestic purposes. This system is consistent with the present standards and offers a guarantee to serve as an extension of human facilities. It detects emergency condition with the help of digital wired inputs. When the system detects hazard/unauthorised entry, it will react and send the pre-recorded 20-second voice message, which is repeated twice. The task of activating the system and providing communication between VC and a telephone set is established via telephone lines or a mobile network. Arming/disarming of the unit is provided by means of an electronic key. Features: micro controller based system; 4-zone system; 2-operation modes - Home/Away, 2 Arm/Disarm zones and 2 Alert zones; uniquely coded secured electronic key for arming/disarming; provision of six electronic keys; different types of sensors such as magnetic door/shutter sensor, panic switches and external siren can be directly connected; current sensors such as motion sensors, ie, PIR, Smoke Detectors, Heat sensors could be connected using external alarm unit; Entry/Exit delay of 20 sec; On activation it calls 5 different landline or mobile nos. and pre-recorded 20 sec voice message is played twice; on activation also generates higher siren output; user can record message in his/her voice; easy programming; 230 V AC operation, 10 to 12 hr battery backup (when fully charged); low power consumption.
