The safety contact controller is housed in an IP65 enclosure, conforms to EN954 and carries the CE mark. The 24 V DC controller offers two force-guided safety relay contacts, connected in series, as the output to the safety circuit. Most safety contact strips use the same internal safety contact. It consists of an outer covering of non-conductive rubber, with two inner layers of conductive rubber and a reinforced copper wire. This construction offers low resistance, even in lengths exceeding 100 metres.
