Safety Light Curtains for Perimeter Guarding
The Opto Fence OF4600 50 safety light curtain system comes with a standard number of significant safety light curtain features, including individual beam indicators for simplified alignment, and a start/restart interlock operating mode ideal for perimeter guarding applications. The compact OF4600 50 is a simple "two box" design control reliable circuitry is housed in the receiver and transmitter, requiring no separate control box. No cable is required between the transmitter and receiver. Exact channel select allows for permanently blocked beams in the detection zone, floating blanking allows up to two beams to be blocked anywhere in the zone, and two solidstate safety outputs provide 500 mA of current at 24 V DC. This safety light curtain system provides 2.0 inch (53 mm) resolution, 80 foot (24 metre) range and is available in protected heights from 27 to 69 inches (700 to 1741 mm). The OF4600 50 offers two PNP safety outputs designed to directly switch machine primary control elements, as well as one NPN non-safety output. Additional features include choice of operating modes, MPCE monitoring, in line connector cables and adjustable mounting brackets. Optional Devicenet interface and darkroom application versions are available.
