Doffer Light Barrier

Leuze Electronic GmbH have introduced a doffer light barrier, mainly for textile applications. The newly developed through beam 64 Series light barrier takes the place of laborious manual surveillance so far necessary to check that all the bobbins have been doffed, and whether a driving spindle may have been drawn off at the same time. The Model LS 64/4.8 S is designed for the production step monitor positioning of empty tubs with a maximum range of 50 meters and ample functional reserve to counteract the effect of soiling. It is intended for monitoring the production sequence "cop doffing" with a maximum range of around 100 meters and a generous functional reserve. The reserve ensures that even torn threads hanging down during the cop doffing process do not impair the function. Pulsating light operation Offers improved insensitivity to outside light influences. Lens diameter of 12 mm guarantees reliable recognition of even the smallest tube diameters and driving spindles. 4-fold alignment LEDs facilitate light barrier adjustment. The plug in connection permits quick exchange in case of damage due to pre-assembled design.
